Amsterdams Bont Bowl (clobbered). Blue and white china, decorated in Europe. This bowl is decorated with an example of ‘The Music Party’ in which a seated singer is accompained by two musicians, a cellist and a harpist. The seated singer is probably Princess Anne who was known te be an accomplished misucian. Lord Hervey recorded that Anne ‘played the harpischord and sung everything at sight’, and that the composer Handel had been her singing master.
