A very interesting plate. This is a good example of a Late ming dish with added color decoration. The added colors are not necessary for the decoration. They are an adition to a complete scene. This type of plate also exists with Anhua instead of green decoration. This is similar to Amsterdam Bont. In this scene the added color figures and animals are to large for the original scene, creating a rather odd image.
