An extremely rare Famille Noir plate. Kangxi period. Very interesting because of its experimental nature. The Cafe au lait on the base is burned. The Black is applied very wildly. This is something also seen on Kangxi Famille Noir cup and saucers in the Rijksmuseum. This all shows how difficult it was to make famille noir
