1478 An interesting South Chinese porcelain/Stoneware dish with blue glaze.
Description:
1478 An interesting South Chinese porcelain/Stoneware dish with blue glaze.
A rather interesting dish. Dating to the 18th century in our opinion. Most likely South Chinese or Dehua, similar pieces have been called Vietnamese. Its a piece that is in between Swatow/Zhangzhou wares and Kitchen Qing. Interestingly enough this one is partly blue glazed. This glaze is similar to that found on Zhangzhou/Swatow blue glazed slib decorated pieces.
