A very nicely potted and painted blue and white Kosometsuke plate of a desirable cobalt blue! Stunning piece with design of Turkish style Arabesque pattern and central a Lingzhi Fungus or sacred mushroom.

Lovely and unusual base with a nice mark. The centre is lifted.

The mark most probably reads: Beautiful vessel for the Jade Hall

A similar dish without the Lingzhi is added in the pictures and from the book of Kyoto Shoin .
